Configure the Sequoia Machine for R-wave Triggered Frame Capture

Steps:

  • Go to the desired “EXAM PRESET” you wish to program.
  • Press the “SET UP” key (top-middle row of keyboard).
  • Select “AEGIS” from the list.
  • On the bottom-left corner of this page, select “DEFINE” under PROTOCOL TYPE”.
  • On the bottom-left of this page, click on the box just right of the statement “CLIP CAPTURE” then select “INDEF.”
  • Click on the box below this (MSEC) and select “Ultrsnd Frms”.
  • Enter “1” in the “Segment Length” box.
  • To the right of these, activate “Enable R-wave Gated Capture”.
  • Select the “PRIOR” soft key function twice.
  • From the “SET up” menu select “PRESETS”
  • On the bottom left page, click on “STORE”.
  • Exit

You have set the system up to save all R-waves, however you will have to manually start and truncate (end) the clip at the desired time.
